I'm Sue, a self-taught textile and mixed media artist, and a compulsive embroiderer. Once the Head of a busy English Department at an independent secondary school, l am now relishing the opportunities of retirement.
The natural world is a huge source of inspiration - especially trees and flowers - as are literature, and vintage treasures. I sew entirely by hand, and love to incorporate paper and stamps into my work. I also make brooches.
